Description-This course is an introduction to rhythm identification and interpretation of normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms, as well as basic treatment interventions. The course consists of classroom lecture, hands on practice, and homework/study outside of class.
Class Length-Two day course; 8-hour days; must attend both days
Validation of learning-Electronic test; Occurs on day 2 of the course
Prerequisites-None
Target Audience-RNs, LPNs, and Monitor Technicians caring for patients on telemetry and/or other cardiac monitoring equipment; Associates wanting an introduction to rhythm interpretation
