Are you wanting to have a natural, unmedicated birth experience? If yes, then this Natural Moms course is for you!
Preparing for childbirth can be overwhelming, but our team of nurse educators here at ASTH Midtown are here to help guide and support you through the process!
Our Natural Moms course is designed to prepare you and your support person for a natural, unmedicated birth experience. The instructor will not only cover the basics of the labor and delivery process but will also focus on learning and practicing some of the most talked-about and popular coping techniques. We will include stretches and exercises to prepare your body for labor and delivery. While we are not certified instructors of Spinning Babies, Lamaze, Body Ready Method etc., we incorporate some of their teachings and principles into our classes.
As an added bonus, this course also includes the Birth Center Orientation class information that is required to be eligible to deliver in one of our special Birth Center suites. So, our moms taking this course will not have to pay for or attend the separate orientation class.

If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
Dawn is a registered nurse with over twenty seven years of obstetrical nursing experience, with the majority of her work at the bedside of laboring mothers. For the last eight years, she has served as one of our Childbirth Educators here at ASTH Midtown. Dawn is passionate about teaching expectant parents and has received professional certifications in childbirth education and lactation consulting. She has most recently furthered her role to include guiding parents through the birth design process.
Cassandra is a registered nurse specializing in women’s health and labor & delivery. Her passion is supporting women in her community through education and compassionate care, empowering expectant parents to feel confident and prepared for their birth journey.
This fee covers the book, handouts and sessions with your RN instructor.
