Date: June 18 &19, 2020;  This is a two day course.-THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Time: 7:30am - 4:30pm each day; breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Purpose: Prepare the critical care nurse for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses’ (AACN) specialty certification exam to achieve CCRN certification.

Objectives: 

• Describe the pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment for each system
• Describe critical thinking in professional caring and ethical practice as identified by using the AACN Synergy Model of Patient Care
• Practice test taking skills by utilizing practice and discussing answer rationales
• Discuss test taking techniques and study methods to prepare for success on the CCRN exam

Successful Completion of the Continuing Nursing Education Activity: In order to receive full credit for this activity, you must be in attendance for at least 80% of the event, attend both days, sign the roster, and complete and submit the evaluation form.
