Preparing for Birth Series

Preparing for Your Birth is a 2 class series focusing on pregnancy warning signs, labor stages, comfort measures, hospital medical procedures, pain control options- including epidurals, and cesarean sections. Please plan to attend both classes to receive all the details. This series is taught by an RN experienced in Labor and delivery. Your support person is encouraged to attend the classes (no additional fee). The fee includes the book, handouts and your sessions with your instructor. Classes fill-up quickly, so please plan accordingly.
If you are wanting to prepare for a 'natural' (unmedicated) childbirth experience, we recommend registering for our Unmedicated Childbirth class also.
Class is held in the classroom in the Birthing Center on the 3rd floor- check in with Security and let them know you are here for class.
